Both parents of all German Shepherd Dogs born and registered in Germany MUST have certified hips and elbows and pass temperament (BH) and performance tests (IGP1, 2, or 3 in Tracking Obedience & Protection) to demonstrate a high level of Protection intelligence and Trainability. While all of our elite German Shepherd Protection Trained Dogs have these credentials, AKC has no such requirements.
Most of our clients DO NOT WANT TO SHOW OR BREED. They desire a beautiful, well bred German Shepherd with excellent temperament, intelligence and health (including hips and elbows.
