Hey Bill!

Just an update.

Jet (Xano =) is doing great. We absolutely LOVE him. He is so good natured and is so eager to please. He goes everywhere with us -- to the coffee shop, on hikes, downtown for errands and he has shown to be great with other animals and people.

Anyway, just a quick note to let you know how he's doing - and he's doing great! He's hands down everything we wanted.

Thank you!

Hi Bill:  The puppy came in on the AA flight on time.    Now to the puppy Bill  your classification as an ultimate puppy  does not do him justice, supreme might be a better word.  Outside of the seiger show ring I have not seen anything that compares to him at his present age; color, conformation, temperament are all excellent and could not be better. Thank you for this superb animal and you may be sure that he will receive only the best of care and training.  If you would like to recommend his registered name l will be glad to name him in conjunction with your kennel name. l fed him  last night and he ate the food that came with him along with a small ration of my food[Diamond Professional].  He ate both types without hesitation.  After seeing him l will enter him into the show ring as soon as l locate a handler..l will keep you informed of his progress in the ring and out l thank you again for this wonderful animal and if you want to enter any of these comments in your web site please feel free to do so.  Sincerely George Dillon, 1036 old pinnacle rd, joelton, tn 37080. Hello Bill,
Just a note to let you know that Pele Vom Naturpark Altmulthal SchH3 is still the most wonderful dog I have ever encountered.  He turned 9 years old on 1/8/08.  He has never wavered from the training and titles he acquired .  He still has the majestic presence , sweet disposition , and beauty he had 6 years ago.  He greets me every morning with that great smile , a wagging tail , and a gleam in his eye that seems to ask : "What kind of fun will we have  today"  He goes most everywhere with me.

Thank you for all you do to make these dogs possible.

Dear Bill - I'm sure you don't remember me (or Tim) as it's been almost three years to the day that you sent him on a plane from Texas to New York.  I'm sure you hear from 100's of people about how great your dogs have turned out, and Tim is no exception.  (He was from a Hill - Wendy littler born in 9/04).  He's a gorgeous, bright and VERY intense dog.  Calm is not a word you'd associate with Tim, "high spirited" would be a better description of him.  We absolutely adore him.

Anyway, please go to this website (www.brooklynpaper.com) and check out the front page story from one of our neighborhood newspapers. (It's a weekly paper so the story will be gone by next week).  It's Tim's 15 minutes of fame and he'll probably get an extra dried liver treat tonight to celebrate.

Hope all is well with you and your family and that you have a safe and happy holiday season.

Best wishes,

We just wanted to say thanks for such a great dog. Yolly is such a joy and she gets along great with our kids. My two year old follows her around and then will sometimes sit on her. She doesn't mind him and seems to really like the attention. She is very obedient and is very good on the leash.

Next week we were going to go and take her out to a Schutzhund club practice and she what she could do. We are also thinking about joining and getting involved in the sport. We really like the sport and it looks like allot of fun.

We also wanted to compliment Leah and her family for what a great job they do with their dogs. They were all very nice, friendly and very informative on the dogs.

Yolly is such a beautiful dog and her temperament is superb.
Thanks once again. We will send you some pictures.

Bill asked me how the pup is doing. I don't think we could be happier with him. He has bonded to the family well. The family loves him & he is beautiful. He has also bonded well with our 2+ year old mixed breed female, Mattie Sue. He has exceptional temperment and is very smart. I believe a lot of this is due to breeding and a large part is due to the way he was raised by Leah, Anna and their family before we got him. They did an exceptional job with him.

I told Bill that I got with a local Schutzhund club and am doing some training with him. He seems to be doing well with it. He will be 7 months old on Tuesday. He goes in this morning to get his first Rabies shot and a microchip.

I know you sell a lot of dogs to a lot of different people, but I just wanted you to know that this dog went to a family that will always love and care for him. That's the way I was raised and the way I have raised my children. He follows me around everywhere I go & if I'm out in the yard working on something he will usually just sit down and watch me. He's laying next to me in the computer room now as I write this.

He has a great ball and prey drive that seems to get stronger each day. He comes to me when I call or whistle. We have horses, cats and chickens on our place. He does not have much interest in the horses and it took me a while but he does not chase the chickens much anymore. He has never killed one. He is curious about the cats. The oldest one, Black Cat, is about 18 years old, has no teeth or claws and weighs about 5 lbs. always holds him at bay when they meet.

I had him up in the forest for the last two days. We have a small cabin in Northern Arizona. He loves it up there. Lots of adventure and squirrels to chase. He will wander some but always comes back when I call.

Thanks
Wayne

Hi Bill & Evy,
Here is a picture of Sahra and Kie from a couple of years ago. As you can see they have a rough life.
Bella turned one yesterday and she has fit in so well with all our us. We are very happy with her as soon as I get some updated pictures of her I will send them along.
We attended a dog fest on Sunday there where over one hundred dogs there and everyone loved Bella because she was the baby and we gave your name out to people that inquired about all the dogs.
Kie and Bella placed second in a couple of contest they had and Sahra sat on the side lines as she is too old (13 1/2).
I hope all is well for you & your family

Hello  my name is Shauna Knoth you dealt with my Husband William last year, when he purchased our Male Dog.  I just wanted to say thank you again for your recommendation for the Exceptional Male.  I am not sure if you remember us but I was very hesitant on purchasing a large dog after the dog fight i witnessed between our old dog and my inlaws dog.
I wanted to let you know that we recently had our third child, two weeks ago to be exact.  When we brought our daughter home Tex (the exceptional male) didn't even know or seem to care she was here.  To this day he doesn't bother her much unless she cries. Which is good because i dont always hear her when she is sleeping and wakes up.  Tex hears her everytime.  He checks on her all the time.  He sleeps under her swing and next to her cradle at night.  I have never heard of male dogs acting this way over a baby. When he does come by her he is very gentle, he sniffs at her head but doesn't touch it and only licks her feet.
THANK YOU again for your recommendation for this extremely exceptional and special dog.
I have attached a picture of Tex from about a month ago.

  Leah, Anna & Family.

First let me say that it was a pleasure to meet all of you. You have a beautiful family & home. I know that breeding is a business for you but it is obvious to see the love and attention you pay to the dogs in your care. I can also see that in the pup we got from you. He is well mannered, calm in demeanor, intelligent and attentive. Not to mention beautiful.

We put the pup in the back seat & he was no problem at all. He sat and laid on the seat the entire trip.    A few times he moved forward in the car to the point of placing his head and front paws on the console between the seats. I think he just wanted to socialize with us. He was never unruly & I'm glad that we came to pick him up & didn't ship him.

We arrived home in Mesa at about 8 PM after numerous phone calls from Erika, our 15 year old daughter, asking how long it would be before we got home with him. The "are we there yet" syndrome by cell phone. She has been very excited about getting him since I broke the news to the family on Monday.

He came right in and began to socialize with her. We toured the house, on a leash, and met Mattie (our other dog) and Dudley the cat. He has deemed Dudley to be great sport but for the most part is good with him.

I went to bed leaving him out with my son & daughter asking them to put him in the crate when they went to bed. Dan, our 18 year old son, has also taken to him already.  I later learned that he slept in Dan's room last night.  Never urinated on the floor.
He went with me to feed the horses this morning & met all of them. He's not quite sure what to think about the chickens. He didn't show an interest in chasing them.. He went with me to take Erika to school. He sat in the Suburban calmly and attentively never causing a problem.

I'm attaching a photo of Erika and the pup taken last night. We have not named him yet.

Thanks again,
Wayne & Ann

Thought I'd send along below anecdote about our Liesel (aka V Sally von Emkendorfer Park) in case it tickled you as it did us.  Also attached is a photo of her with our most excellent Schutzhund trainer, Richard Shook.
She and I are coming along, her confidence is recovering from the move and my dog training/handling skills are growing exponentially.  Schutzhund has a lot more to it than AKC obedience.  We are hoping to trial late spring at Schutzhund 1, to bring her back from two years of rust-gathering and to give me my first trial experience, but even if we're not ready this spring, I'm shooting for taking her Sch2 in the fall and ideally Sch3 in spring '08.  Those goals may prove out of reach for a corporate lawyer with 3 kids, a running hobby and a piano hobby, i.e. very little time to train dogs, but we're gonna try.  Hope you're doing well.  Will you be at the Sieger show in Danbury?  I'm toying with the idea of coming to watch.  BTW, Congrats on Heida's excellent showing at the '06 show.  Best, Jackie

Hi Bill,
I'd like to give you an update on my girl, Bijou. She is doing well, we're going to school, and we visit the K9 center often, to socialize. She is very smart, and a sweetheart, we love her so much. She's acting shy at first, but when she get to know things she becomes confident. She is getting use to agility equipments, and I'm taking her to schuch. classes, to watch, just to get use to noise and other dog behavior. She's slim, I think she'll pick up agility later on, she has the body.
She has a very good temper, very calm, she picks up thing fast. She never pulls, she walks on a loose leash by my side, she knows to sit, to wait, she rings a bell only when she has to go to potty. She is in and outside.
She LOVES water. Unbelievable loves water, everything wet...that is her thing.
I love her so much. I'm sending you some pictures.
Take care, -- Andrea

No, we're not retiring yet.  We just have too much of a good thing!  Almost all of our females conceived with fairly large litters.  So by making these superb puppies a little more affordable, those on limited budgets can share in our good fortune.

Dear Bill:  I wouldn't expect you to remember, but WE were certainly happy to celebrate Tim's second birthday on Friday (you sent Tim to us in Brooklyn, he's from a Hill and Wendy litter).  We walked to the new dog boutique on Friday evening and bought him a couple of treats to celebrate.  This morning (Sunday), Tim repaid up by barking twice at about 6:30AM and waking us up.  Sensing that something just wan't right, I came upstairs (with Tim at my side), and discovered a burglar who had entered through a window at the back of our house.  He was qute surprised to be caught by me and Tim and made a very hasty escape back out through the window, across our nieghbor's deck and over several fences to get back onto the street.  Tim had heard him and had woken us up before he was able to take very much, although he had ransacked our library, disassembled our computer equipment, gone through desk drawers and bathroom medicine cabinets, etc.  The policemen and detectives who were in and out of our house for a good bit of the morning were very impressed by our brave GSD, and we were ever so grateful for such a good dog.  Just thought you might enjoy this story, and know that even though we've spoiled him rotten, Tim hasn't forgotten he has a job to do around our home.  Take care,
